Worship in the Episcopal Church
Sunday is traditionally when Episcopalians gather for worship. The principal weekly worship service is the Holy Eucharist, also known as the Lord’s Supper, Holy Communion, or Mass. The center of our shared life is Eucharistic worship, the sacrament where we experience the living Christ. We open our hearts and minds to glorify and listen to God through liturgy and music that embodies the dynamic heritage of the Episcopal Church.
